At Simple Hearth, we want you to love every purchase. If something isn't quite right, we've made returns simple and straightforward.
30-Day Return Window
You have 30 days from the date of delivery to initiate a return for most items. We believe that's plenty of time to unbox, try out, and fall in love with your purchase—or decide it's not the right fit.
What Can Be Returned?
Eligible for Return:
- Unused items in original packaging
- Products in resalable condition
- Items with all original tags and labels attached
Not Eligible for Return:
- Opened or used personal care items (aromatherapy mists, massage melts, etc.) for hygiene reasons
- Journals or books that have been written in
- Final sale or clearance items
- Digital products or gift cards
How to Start a Return
Contact us using the Contact Form on the Homepage with your order number and the item(s) you'd like to return. We'll send you a return authorization and instructions within 24 hours.
Refund Process
Once we receive your return and verify its condition, we'll process your refund within 5-7 business days. Refunds will be issued to your original payment method. Please note that original shipping costs are non-refundable.
Exchanges
We're happy to exchange items for a different size, color, or product. Just let us know what you'd prefer when you initiate your return, and we'll make it happen.
Damaged or Defective Items
If your item arrives damaged or defective, please contact us immediately with photos. We'll send a replacement right away or issue a full refund—your choice. You won't need to return the damaged item.
