Sourdough Discard German Pancakes

  • 9X13 Glass Casserole Dish
  • Mixing Bowl
  • Blender

Ingredients
  

  • 5 tbsps butter
  • 6 large eggs
  • ¾ c milk
  • ½ c sourdough discard
  • ¾ c flour
  • Vanilla Extract
  • Salt

Topping Suggestions

  • Maple Syrup
  • Powdered Sugar
  • Berries
  • Whipped Cream

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit
  • Place 5 tbsps of butter in the casserole dish, then place in the dish in the oven to melt the butter
  • Combine eggs, milk, sourdough discard, flour, vanilla, and salt into your blender to make your batter
  • Pour batter mixture into the dish with the hot butter, place back in the oven
  • Cook for 18-24 minutes.
  • The top should not be eggy when done
